This is so sad! What a brave roo though. My mother has a friend that had a hero rooster too, but unfortunatly he didn't know until it was too late. night after night the rooster was fighting off weasels that got inside the coop, but he couldn't save all his hens. My mother's friend was so upset about all the hen deaths he killed his rooster because he thought the rooster was the killer. The very next night all the remaining hens were killed because the had no protector.
